Best Golf Drills

My New Year’s resolution for 2017 was to improve my golf so that I could consistently break 80 on most courses. As just an average golfer with an average swing I was determined to play better. In order to do that, I had to put together a practice plan that I could do at home and that would not put me in the poor house (you can see my break 80 plan here). So I started searching for a list of the best golf drills to do at home. Quickly I realized I would need to narrow my list.

What better place to start then with the drills from the top teachers. Using Golf Digest’s list of the top 50 golf instructors, I have created a list of one or two of the best golf drills from each instructor in the top 50 that you can do at home.

In addition, I have divided the list up into swing categories:

Swing Speed (SS)

Swing Path (SP)

Tempo (T)

Impact (I)

Putting (P)

Contact (C)

Release (R)

Backswing (BS)

*Each drill that I have completed to break 80 will be highlighted.
